The Water Babies

The water babies cry, perhaps over by San Ignacio, Warner's Springs-- or another place where it is soft and marshy. The babies leave footprints in the soft dirt. When they cry, something is going to happen-- and it's not good; maybe death.

A lady started to nurse the water baby and it swallowed her! Be careful-- maybe it's quicksand there. If the blood oranges grow there, don't eat them!
