The Magic Fish

There is a magic fish, (kihutshr) east of here, this side of Kwirikaich Mountain (Mt. San Gorgonio) in Kihutshaki Lake. My father was there, three times. The kihutshr is red like fire, red like a man, and is size of a man. It lives up out of the water and cries. People used to be afraid to go near the place-- it seizes people, like bears who hug you with their arms (penátsher). When it is about to come out, a violent wind arises.
