Preservation San Manuel Tribal Unity Cultural Awareness Program David Manzano, James Ramos The San Manuel Tribe of Mission Indians has begun a Tribal Unity Cultural Awareness Program under the leadership of James Ramos, Vincent Duro and David Manzano. This program is attempting to teach the Serrano language and customs to their youth. Ernest Siva Ernest Siva left, is one of three native Serrano Language speakers known to exit. He has dedicated his time and energy to researching, and teaching both music and language to his people. Robert Livi is teaching the ancient Birdsongs. It is hoped that the dedication of these people will be rewarded with a resurgence of knowledge from the past.
